Suggested Course Sequence

Following is a suggested course sequence for your program. Courses may be offered as indicated and/or at other times. Consult your Advisor for further direction and planning.

Course Loads

Maximum of 18 credits allowed for all semesters. Additional course loads are allowed for students who achieve Dean’s List. Consult the Dean’s List section of the Daemen catalog for details on the Dean’s List privilege.

NOTE

PSY333 Statistics for Psychology & Social Sciences and PSY353 Research Methods in Psychology: Students must earn a minimum grade of C in PSY333 in order to take PSY353 With Laboratory.

PSY335 Junior Seminar in Psychology, PSY353 With Laboratory Research Methods in Psychology, PSY354 With Laboratory Topics in Psychological Research and PSY444 Senior Thesis: PSY353/With Laboratory is the prerequisite for PSY335 and PSY354 With Laboratory. PSY354 With Laboratory is the prerequisite for PSY444. PSY354 With Laboratory will be offered with varying topics from which a student may choose. Upon successful completion of PSY354 With Laboratory, students will enroll in PSY444 Senior Thesis for one semester. Although there may be rare instances when the Psychology Chair will make an exception, prerequisites are enforced as indicated.

The following courses may not be repeated more than once: PSY103, PSY333, PSY335, PSY353/With Laboratory, PSY354/With Laboratory, PSY444.
