Bachelor of Science – Health Promotion

Course Loads

Maximum of 18 credits allowed for all semesters. Additional course loads are allowed for students who achieve Deans List. Consult the Dean’s List section of the Daemen catalog for details on the Dean’s List privilege.

Year 1

LEARNING COMMUNITIES are generally completed in the first year (LC1 in the 1st semester; LC2 in the 2nd semester)

*Students who complete the Chemistry requirement by taking CHE110/L and also take CHE111/L will have 3 of the credits count in the major and 5 credits count under the Free Electives. When CHE110-111/L are selected, CHE110/L will be taken in the first semester, CHE111/L in the second semester, making each semesters course load = 16 credits.

CHE 101/L or CHE 110-111/L should be considered for Health and Fitness or Complementary and Alternative Health Care Practices, and for any student in Community Health that wishes to complete Anatomy and Physiology.
