Courses may be offered as indicated and\/or at other times. Consult with your Academic Advisor for further direction and planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Course Loads<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum of 18 credits allowed for all semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NOTE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Grade Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>PSY333\/L Statistics for Psychology &amp; Social Sciences, PSY353\/L Research Methods in Psychology, and PSY 354\/L Advanced Research Methods in Psychology each require students to earn a minimum grade of C- in order to register for the next course in the sequence (i.e., a C- in PSY333\/L in order to register for PSY353\/L, a C- in PSY 353\/L in order to register for PSY 354\/L, and a C- in PSY 354\/L in order to register for the senior capstone course (PSY 444, Senior Thesis in Psychology)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PSY 335, Junior Seminar in Psychology, also requires a minimum grade of C- in order for students to receive credit for completing this requirement and meeting graduation requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Although there may be rare instances when the Psychological Sciences Chair will make an exception, prerequisites are enforced as indicated.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Course Repeats<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following courses may not be repeated more than once: PSY103, PSY333\/With Laboratory, PSY335, PSY353\/With Laboratory, PSY354\/With Laboratory, PSY444, Psy 445.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Year 1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First Year Experience<\/strong> and <strong>Learning Communities<\/strong>&nbsp;are generally completed in the first year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FIRST SEMESTER<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>PSY103 Introductory Psychology* (3)<\/li><li>CMP101 English Composition (3)<\/li><li>First-Year Seminar** (3)<\/li><li>Language\/Gen Ed (Breadth- Exploration)** (3)<\/li><li>Free Elective (3)<\/li><li>Total Credits (15)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SECOND SEMESTER<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Required 200 level Psychology courses (6)<\/li><li>Language\/Gen Ed (Breadth- Exploration) (3)<\/li><li>Learning Community** (6)<\/li><li>Total Credits (15)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>*PSY 103 may be taken in either semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>**Note: LC may be taken in Fall.&nbsp;
