      <\/b>Internship<\/h2>\n

      Although not required, students have the option of completing PAR450 Paralegal Internship (3) as one of the Paralegal Studies electives.<\/p>\n

      Requirements for Admission to the Certificate Program<\/h2>\n

      At the time of admission to the program, students must possess a baccalaureate degree from Daemen College or other accredited institution, OR<\/b> be currently enrolled in a degree program (other than the BS, Paralegal Studies program) at Daemen College.<\/p>\n

      Post-baccalaureate students will be eligible for admission under the following circumstances<\/h2>\n
        \n
      1. An overall\u00a0grade point average (GPA) of 2.25 in bachelor’s degree program<\/li>\n
      2. Successful completion of CMP101 English Composition (or its equivalent) with a minimum grade of B; please note that course (or substitute writing course as approved by Director) can be taken at Daemen in addition to required Certificate courses.<\/li>\n
      3. Successful completion of PAR210 Law for Society with a minimum grade of C; please note that course can be taken at Daemen in addition to required Certificate courses.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Daemen students from other majors will be eligible for admission under the following circumstances<\/h2>\n
          \n
        1. Successful completion (with minimum grades of C) of 24 credits of college level course work and sophomore standing<\/li>\n
        2. Successful completion of CMP101 English Composition (or its equivalent) with a minimum grade of B<\/li>\n
        3. Successful completion of PAR210 Law for Society with minimum grade of C.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Requirements for Completion of the Certificate Program<\/h2>\n
            \n
          1. Successful completion of a baccalaureate program at Daemen or other accredited institution<\/li>\n
          2. A minimum grade of B in CMP101 and a minimum grade of C in PAR210<\/li>\n
          3. A grade point average (GPA) of 2.25 in paralegal studies courses<\/li>\n
          4. Filing of an Application for Certificate form with the Registrar\u2019s Office in the first week of the final term (Fall, Spring, or Summer) prior to program completion. NOTE: Participation in the Commencement ceremony is not applicable to certificate candidates.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
