Consult your Advisor for further direction and planning.<\/p>\n<h2>Course Loads<\/h2>\n<p>Maximum of 18 credits allowed; where required 3 20-credit hour and 2 21-credit hour semesters are allowed at no additional tuition charge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE: EDU237\/L Instructional Design<\/strong>: A student who has earned a C- or less in EDU237\/L in his\/her first two attempts will be dismissed from the teacher certification program.<\/p>\n<h2>Year 1<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">First-Year Experience &amp; Learning Communities are generally completed in the first year.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 align=\"left\">MATH REQUIREMENT<\/h4>\n<p>Students are expected to complete MTH144 Calculus &amp; Analytic Geometry I by the end of the second year of study. Depending upon the Math background, a student may be required to complete lower-level Math courses as a prerequisite to the required MTH144.
