Bachelor Of Science – Psychology Pre-Med Track

Following is a suggested course sequence for your program. Courses may be offered as indicated and/or at other times. Consult your Academic Advisor for further direction and planning.

Course Loads

Maximum of 18 credits allowed for all semesters.

Minimum Grade Requirements:  Students must earn a minimum grade of C- in PSY 103 in order to register for PSY 333/L Statistics for Psychology and Social Sciences.  In addition, PSY333/L Statistics for Psychology & Social Sciences, PSY353/L Research Methods in Psychology, and PSY 354/L Advanced Research Methods in Psychology each require students to earn a minimum grade of C- in order to register for the next course in the sequence (i.e., a C- in PSY333/L in order to register for PSY353/L, a C- in PSY 353/L in order to register for PSY 354/L, and a C- in PSY 354/L in order to register for the senior capstone course (either PSY 444, Senior Thesis in Psychology, or PSY 445, Senior Practicum in Psychology)

PSY 335, Junior Seminar in Psychology, also requires a minimum grade of C- in order for students to receive credit for completing this requirement and meeting graduation requirements.

Although there may be rare instances when the Psychological Sciences Chair will make an exception, prerequisites are enforced as indicated.

Course Repeats

The following courses may not be repeated more than once: PSY103, PSY333/With Laboratory, PSY335, PSY353/With Laboratory, PSY354/With Laboratory, PSY444, Psy 445.
